Sydney - Anti Corrosion Seminar August 30th

Promek Anti Corrosion Australia is to hold an important seminar relating to the problems associated with corrosion in the HVAC industry.

Corrosion in Australia is a $30 Billion problem.

The seminar is free and is aimed at Engineers, Service Professionals, Equipment Suppliers and anyone with an interest in HVAC corrosion. “Specialist speakers and our industrial Chemist will present and we are happy to have a lengthy question and answer period at the end”, said Tony Power of Promek. Corrosion seems to have been placed in the too hard basket and only 10% of all air conditioning units installed are suitably protected against corrosion.

The seminar will provide information on

• Basics of corrosion presented in simple terms so that non technical people can get a grasp of the problem.
• Methods used to protect against corrosion.
• HVAC restoration methods.
• Advantages and disadvantages of coating technologies.
• Promek Restorations system.
• Application methods.
• Costings and benefits.

There have been numerous successful seminars held overseas. This first Australian event promises to be a big success and will provide a much needed forum to cap the corrosion problem in this industry. We have already had a lot of interest and will be recording the event for those that cannot attend.
The seminar will be duplicated in Brisbane and Melbourne later in the year.

Promek Accredited Applicator

PROMEK Anti-Corrosion Australia has announced that it will soon start a training program across Australia for recognized HVAC contractors to become Accredited Applicators. Tony Power of PROMEK said that this will in effect make them partners in our expansion.

Group training is being arranged through this month and we are adding to our team across Victoria, NSW and Queensland but we are looking for applicators in other states as well.

The PROMEK range provides world leading corrosion technologies and has been developed in Australia by a team of real Aussie innovators.

The PROMEK coatings are water based epoxies that apply in one coat. The nano-technology and super-hydrophobic properties are great news for the HVAC industry.

Promek announces HVAC corrosion resistant coatings. World leading technology developed in Australia.

Promek Anti Corrision Australia today announced their range of HVAC anti corrosion coatings developed in Australia for the HVAC industry. This technology has been eagerly awaited and is widely regarded as world-leading technology in the industry.

Based in Sydney but appointing agents around Australia the products have been a work in progress for over twenty years. ProMek Chemists have developed a world leading technology and ProMek's in depth HVAC knowledge places the company in a very strong growth position in Australia.

Tony Power of Promek said 'we have really got this product right and it is so far ahead of the opposition in its anti-corrosion capabilities but also applies on coils at between 9 – 12 microns. That is significant as other coatings are more than twice that'.

All of the Promek coatings are super-hydrophobic which means that water is repelled and the coil will therefore not retain condensate. This can reduce defrost periods on refrigeration equipment by over 20%.

The Promek Coil Coat SHM uses the latest Silver Nano-Technology with a special permanent anti-microbial additive, dramatically reducing the buildup of microbial contamination, one of the leading causes of poor indoor air quality. This single product has the potential to revolutionize the air conditioning industry.

Promek has also been busy developing a World First coil cleaning product.

Promek Coil Clean OH Enviro comes in a convenient 250gm powder pack so that it can be easily packed into a technician's service vehicle. The cleaner is water based and uses novel neutral enzyme cleaners and passivated alkaline detergents that aggressively attacks slime and mould without exposing fins to alkaline attack. We have all seen first-hand the damage some of the cleaners currently on the market can do to old coils. The cleaner can be simply run into storm water and is safe for technicians.

Tony Power said the successes experienced over the years will now be exploited, and Promek will be displaying the coatings at multiple AIRAH Trade nights and generally bring the range into the HVAC market in Australia.

This range of PROMEK coatings and cleaners is a great Australian innovation.
